5 Tech Companies To Watch In 2015

Spotify

Spotify, one of the world's largest music subscription services just launched its services in Canada late last year. The tech space is rife with speculations that Spotify's IPO will come in 2015. Put their beef with Taylor Swift aside, an IPO could value Spotify over $8 billion.  With recent revenues of about $1 billion, 2015 will certainly be a big year for the Swedish company.



Uber

Uber, an app-based transportation network and taxi company headquartered in San Francisco will continue to make huge strides in 2015. There has been uproar in Vancouver, and other cities about the company. Whatever your thoughts about Uber, 2015 will be another dominating year for the company.


Dropbox


Do you have a Dropbox account or profile? Your answer will probably be who doesn't. Dropbox has successfully focused on acquiring business clients and it seems like 2015 is the year the file hosting service will finally launch it's IPO.


Snapchat


Can you believe that Evan Spiegel turned down a $3 billion buyout from Facebook (and possibly a subsequent $4 billion offer from Google)? Evan knew he had caught lightning in a bottle. After a recent funding round of $10 billion, the world can only sit and watch what Snapchat will do in 2015. Meanwhile million of people will keep snapchating their daily activities.
